Tourism will be hit badly by Gujjar agitation. Who likes to visit a country where thousands can stop rails and block roads without any fear? India deserves the drop in tourist traffic.

Media exposure
The way in which media is following Aarushi murder for TRPs is despicable. A girl was killed. A man was killed along with her. the father is in jail for this. Court has not given any judgment but ?

Noida double Murder- Aarushi Talwar
Dr. Mrs. Talwar will be worst affected . My heart goes out to her.
She has lost her daughter and her husband has been charged with murder of the daughter.
Dirty linens are also being washed in public about relationships pf Dr. Talwar.
Every body seems to have illicit relation with other without no one objecting except Aarushi.
Did Mrs. Talwar not know? How about Dr. Durrani the husband of Mrs. Durrani?
It is all sad and confusing.

Baba Ramdeo On Ship
http://www.marinebuzz.com/2008/05/15/baba-ramdev-to-conduct-yoga-at-sea/
Baba Ramdeo will be teaching Yoga on sea to thousands who can afford top pay for the cruise. Is this maximum commercialization of Yoga, or more ideas can be used such as
Quick Yoga on a flight that takes 16 hours to reach US non stop. If you are worried about getting bored or cramped or whatever, you will have a renowned Yoga teacher to teach you yoga on the flight. Pay extra for such flights.
Any other ideas?

India- Television- Use Of Honorifics
We are evolving or going back in ages? Or trying to follow Americans in every sphere? This is about the way the commentators and moderators address people on television. No honorific is used. Everyone is addressed by his/her first name. I think of a dialog which Ms. Barkha Dutt may have with Gandhiji, Nehruji , Sardar Patel and Mrs. Indira Gandhi.
She would speak thus-
All right Gandhi,
what do you say about Nehru's thoughts?
Come on Nehru,
you know what Gandhi meant.
Sardar, what is your opinion.
Indira, what do you say about this
and so on.
Address a man or woman of any age without using any honorific. We speak of our culture when it suits us and forget our culture equally fast.

Keep patient and watch prices rising
The inflation is rising everyday. For that the finance minister has the right advice. He has asked all Indians to remain patient. he says that inflation will come down, in time. Be patient till then. I have no comment.

India- A big contrast
India has emerged as a leading IT power. at the same time we have bride burning, honor killing, dowry deaths and other social evils that create an impression that many Indians are still living in dark ages. What a contrast!

Match after blast
Was it correct to have a match in Jaipur two days after the blast when hundreds are still grieving about loss of human lives? or should we look at the other way that come what may, the show goes on.
How are blast victims looking at the whole issue?

Jaipur Blasts- Prime Minister Condems
Prime Minister has condemned the Jaipur Blasts. If the death toll had been more he would have condemned the blast in more severe words.
I have no words about this. I can only pray that God gives strength to those who have lost their loved ones.

Indian billionares do not donate
Has anybody heard about any billionaire of India making donations like gates or Buffet? I do not know why, but they do not donate liberally. India is being aided by Gates Foundation to fight AIDS. What should I say about Indian billionaires? do they like this fact? Are they not unhappy that gates has to come and help India?
as far as they do not have to part with money, they are not unhappy about anything.

Congress leaders- Test them for loyalty
All the Congress leaders should undergo loyalty test. CBI may be asked to conducts these tests using lie detectors and other modern methods such as Narco. Once the tests are done the disloyal leaders should be thrown out of the party and most loyal leaders be promoted.
But for God's sake in a country where farmers commit suicide this nonsense must stop forever.

What if Bush had been asked this about India?
I wonder about the comment of Bush about food shortages where he mentioned both India and China as part of the reason. Suppose he had only mentioned China? Would Indians have felt bad?
What if somebody had asked G. Bush - whether Indian prosperity mattered as far as food shortages was concerned and he had answered that no- in India millions still go hungry.
How would we have reacted as Indians?
