Why does the Govt. not reduce excise and other duties on Petroleum products. The money it collects is ostensibly spent for good of nation but it manages to fill pockets of corrupt politicians and officials. Rajiv Gandhi had given a figure of 10% as the money that reaches the beneficiaries.

Now the Govt. wants more money for corrupt elements.
